Peer to Peer support network TalkCampus is the newest addition to CiAM’s Student Success Department, as the institute continues to prove its commitment to student wellbeing.
The benefits of peer support are wide-ranging and well evidenced. Participating in peer to peer support has been linked to: an increased ability to cope, a greater sense of wellbeing & resilience, higher levels of self-esteem and confidence. Since using TalkCampus, 78% of users find it easier to ask for help, 77% say their relationships have improved and 72% feel more understood.

TalkCampus users come from all across the world and our signposting and escalation is country-specific so students will be signposted and escalated to local, relevant services and crisis support.
TalkCampus is customised to each institution, so students will see the CiAM student services embedded within the app ensuring they know exactly what support is available to them and how they can access this. In addition, real-time escalation ensures that students who are at a higher level of risk get the support they need.
