"The service comes highly recommended"

Ashland University Partners with Revolutionary Mental Health Support Network TalkCampus.

Ashland University has bolstered its student support services and joined other leading universities around the world by partnering with TalkCampus. Ashland students will now have access to a global community specifically built for student mental health combining real-time moderation and escalation with a space that is both familiar and intuitive for students.

"Ashland University welcomes our new partnership with TalkCampus. The service comes highly recommended and at a time when our student's mental health needs have expanded during these difficult times. Knowing that our students can anonymously interact with trained peers to address common stresses is comforting. Ashland University pledges the best individual and collective efforts to challenge and encourage each member of the university within a supportive community" Robert W. Pool, PhDVice President for Student Affairs at Ashland University.

Ashland University recognised that a sense of belonging and feeling part of a community is critical for students, especially when it comes to mental health. It is especially important when students are physically isolated from traditional collaborative education. TalkCampus offers a network founded around social connection, authenticity, and the power of peer support. TalkCampus will help Ashland University to reach those students who are outside of the existing frameworks and connect them with relevant and timely support.

“We are really pleased to be able to offer our services to Ashland University. It's fantastic to see the enthusiasm for building students up and supporting them to grow and become the best version of themselves. We are delighted to be able to support Ashland in achieving this and to bring Ashland students into our community!” Jennifer Russell, Clinical Director TalkCampus.

TalkCampus is the first Student Mental Health Service that provides support around the clock, with real-time escalation. TalkCampus helps students to start having what can be really challenging conversations around how they are really feeling. Indeed, a recent survey found that since using TalkCampus 85% of students find it easier to ask for help when they need it and 82% find it easier to cope with life.
